Welcome back, NASCAR!

Starved for live events, sports fans will be getting a nice treat next week. To satisfy the need for live sports, NASCAR announced that it will officially be one of the first major sports to get back into competition.

Live-action motor racing begins May 17th with back-to-back racing at some of America’s most popular tracks, starting at South Carolina’s Darlington Raceway, and wrapping at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Yes, even the fan favorite Coca Cola 600 will go on.

After the initial success of iRacing and the virtual NFL draft, it’s clear that sports will come back in a huge way as the country opens up. Launching ahead of other major leagues, NASCAR will have the undivided attention of eager sports fans as their advantage.

Of course, the NASCAR season’s restart will look different this month. May is typically a busy month for the sport, with the lead up to the jam-packed Memorial Day race weekend. While race fans won’t be able to attend in real life, millions will be glued to their favorite radio stations for some of the most exciting play-by-play action around.

For decades, MRN and PRN’s season announcer crew has brought the race to the ears of fans in vivid detail. Their teams are ready to deliver the same caliber of turn-by-turn coverage to those who are missing being in the stands.

With racing from the NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Gander Outdoors Truck Series, there’s sure to be something to engage every sports fan! Check out the fully-stocked schedule for the next month below:
